The first 16 weeks of a puppies life are so critical to developing a well rounded dog.  During the first 16 weeks, puppies brains are busy “categorizing” everything puppy comes into contact with, as either positive or negative (“Scary”  “Danger”)

Here is a handy list of things to be sure to expose your puppy to in the first 16 weeks!  I realize there is conflicting info on if getting puppy out and about is safe before all vaccinations have been given.  It can be hard to know what to do!  I believe that the first 16 weeks are so crucial that it is more important to take puppy out in the world than it is keeping puppy in home until they are fully vaccinated.  Be sure to talk to your vet if you have concerns.  They will be able to advise you best on what is safe in your area and what isn’t.
